Layana Resort and Spa is an exclusive boutique resort nestled on Koh Lanta Island, facing a white sandy beach and set against a picturesque backdrop of forested hills. The resort features 50 luxurious guestrooms and suites comprising 44 Garden Pavilion rooms, 3 Beach Suites and 3 Ocean Deluxe Suites. All are designed in contemporary Thai style, complete with large balconies, while decor and furnishings are both natural and luxurious, making extensive use of hardwoods, silks and other indigenous materials.
All rooms have either king-size double beds or separate twin beds with goose-down duvets, as well as a large daybed serving both as a daytime sitting area and as a third bed at night if needed. Bathrooms are fitted with bathtubs and separate showers, while the suites are additionally provided with open-air garden showers.
Garden Pavilion rooms, offering 49 square metres of living space, are located in 11 separate two-storey units, each with four guestrooms, nestled within landscaped gardens, commanding garden and mountain views. Environmentally-conscious design throughout the property results in a simple and elegant Thai atmosphere; alfresco architecture combining with contemporary design to provide an open, cool and natural feel.
Enjoying a spectacular beachfront location on a 3-kilometer long white sand beach, the Beach Suites, with 59 square metres, are single-storeyed units perched on the edge of the beach overlooking the sea. Step out of bed and go for a swim, relax in the evenings with a drink and watch Ko Lanta’s stunning sunsets over the beautiful Andaman Sea. Perfect for reaching the escapism you desire.
The Ocean Deluxe Suites, set back from the beach, cover 88 square metres laid out over two storeys, with an open upstairs sala (living area) commanding 270-degree views. Compete with desk, daybed and minibar upstairs, in good weather it’s possible to get in tune with nature and sleep “under the stars”, with only a net to protect against unwelcome mosquitoes.
