Baan Laanta Resort & Spa is a beach-chic, boutique resort offering 15 stylish and elegant, traditional thai-style villa bungalows, located right on the beach in Kan Tiang Bay.
Set within an unspoiled natural bay on the western coast of Ko Lanta, Baan Laanta Resort & Spa offers the perfect haven for a relaxing holiday or long weekend. Each beautifully designed villa is only a few steps away from the ocean and offers simple luxury with an elegant touch.
The 15 cozy chalets nestle on a tropical, fine, white-sandy beachfront, washed by the clear turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea.
Wake up to a refreshing sea breeze and the lush beauty of a tropical beach. Each air-conditioned chalet is equipped with modern amenities and also has an en-suite bathroom and private veranda that commands either a garden/pool view or sea view.
Bay View Restaurant
Baan Laanta’s Bay View Restaurant nestles right on the beach of Ba Kan Tieng with a magnificent view of the crescent-shaped bay. The highlight of each evening is a magnificent Seafood BBQ, offering the largest Tiger Prawns you’ve ever seen and fresh fish caught locally each day. The chef will cook each dish in the style of your choice. There is usually a fireshow on the beach to supply an exciting backdrop to your meal.
Their seafood is supplied by local fisherman who catch and deliver daily from their long tail boats to the restaurant, to ensure you get really fresh fish from the Andaman Sea everyday.
The restaurant opens daily from 7:00 am – 22:00 pm, serving mainly Thai dishes and a selection of popular International dishes from Europe, India and Malaysia. There is also a variety of imported wine and champagne as well as all popular local drinks.
The Spa
The Spa is also open daily from 10:00 am to 22:00 pm. Experience supreme relaxation during your holiday with their famous Thai massage.
Baan Laanta has selected the very best Spa staff, certified from the top massage school in Thailand. They offer a variety of massages including Thai original body massage, Oil massage as well as their popular foot massage.
If you need an excuse to get out of the sun, try the Thai ancient-spa experience with their range of body-scrubs to invigorate and refresh your skin and body.
Activities
Guests can enjoy the numerous activities available on Ko Lanta. Immerse yourself in the underwater paradise of Lanta’s National Marine Park. Visit world class dive sites with Scubafish - PADI 5 STAR, Gold Palm IDC Dive Centre, and become acquainted with some of the friendly marine life in the area.
The Andaman Sea is home to the most diverse collection of sea-life in the world, providing superb diving and excellent underwater photography.
The island also offers many other great activities and tours that are suitable for every member of the family, including snorkeling, hiking, caving, boat tours, fishing and kayaking or you can rent a Jeep or motorbike if you would like to explore the island by yourself. Trek through real tropical rain forest by foot, or atop an elephant or canoe through the cool interior of Thailand’s mangrove forest.
