Learning to scuba dive has never been more convenient!

Whether you’re on the go or want to take it slow, now you can complete the knowledge development portion of the PADI Open Water Diver course online with PADI eLearning. It’s a perfect match for your active schedule.

Virtual Classroom:

Scubafish’s virtual classroom provides a great way for your Instructor to assist you before you even arrive, so you can learn at your own pace. You will receive on-line support from your PADI Instructor throughout the on-line section of the course.

Arrive in Ko Lanta to complete your training:

Once you complete all the segments of the on-line learning programme, you can print your eLearning Record and bring it to Scubafish to start your underwater adventures.
Your Instructor will make sure you have understood the key knowledge sections, and then you can move straight to the pool!

You’ll save approximately 1.5 classroom days (+ evening study sessions) of valuable holiday time.

How much does it cost?

The on-line section of the course costs US$120 which is paid direct to PADI. Once you arrive in Ko Lanta, the price to complete the course is 15,300 THB.

If you’ve already completed the knowledge development part of the PADI eLearning Open Water Course on-line, you’re ready to go straight to the pool. You need to bring a copy of your e-Learning Training Record.

At Scubafish, all our scuba certification courses include manuals and free scuba diving equipment rental. For the eLearning PADI Open Water Course program you’ll receive the PADI Open Water Diver Manual, PADI Recreational Dive Planning Tables, Log Book Binder and waterproof zip bag. In addition, we teach all of our diver level courses in small groups to ensure that you receive the attention that you deserve. All our courses are taught to PADI Standards and prices include PADI certification fees.

On the dive boats, we supply breakfast, lunch, drinking water, soft drinks and fruit. We also provide a selection of fruit juices and towels on each trip.

The regular PADI Open Water Course can still be completed in full with Scubafish. This course takes 3-4 days. If you prefer to spend more time on the beach and less time in the classroom while you are on holiday, then the PADI eLearning system is for you. To sign up for the eLearning course, you must be aged 13+ yrs, and it is a good idea to review the health guidelines for this course, before you start.

How many people are in each group?

We keep group sizes small to ensure you receive maximum benefit from your tuition (maximum 4 students per Instructor). This also minimises negative impact on the reefs. Our emphasis is on safety, fun and personal service within a relaxed and stress-free environment.
