High Speed Cruiser ‘Scubafish’

Join us onboard Ko Lanta’s ultimate High Speed Dive Cruiser ‘MY Scubafish’. With a smooth ride in mind, her powerful, low-emission engines and long-range capabilities will ensure you arrive swiftly and comfortably at some of Thailand’s top dive destinations.

Our high-speed dive boat – ‘Scubafish’ can comfortably accommodate 22 scuba divers and snorkellers. This unusual high-speed cruiser does not travel like a conventional speedboat and benefits from an extremely smooth ride and minimal engine noise – i.e. you can have a normal conversation, read a book, walk around or even set-up your dive gear on the way out to the dive sites!

From our location in the South of Ko Lanta, we can reach Lanta’s Top Dive Sites much faster than dive boats that depart from Saladan in the North of the island. Our journey time to Hin Daeng & Hin Muang is just 1 hour (compared to 4 hours by big boat from Saladan). View the Dive Site Map to see why.

Our new, low-emission, Suzuki DF300 4-Stroke engines are kinder on the environment, give increased performance and efficiency and save you valuable holiday time. We are the only Dive Centre on Ko Lanta to use low-emission engines.

Scubafish has a spacious indoor cabin with tables and chairs, a small sundeck on the upper deck and 22 double tank racks, so there is plenty of space to gear up and get your dive equipment ready.

The dive platform lies low in the water to aid entry and exit, and there are no awkward steps to negotiate once you’ve geared up and are ready to enter the water.

MY Scubafish departs directly from Kantiang Bay each day during high season with a short transfer, by longtail boat, from the beach. During the low season we depart from the pier in Lanta Old Town increasing journey times by about 20 mins.
