Car/Speedboat Transfer – 2 hrs, 20 mins – 1,900 THB

Transfer by car to and from your Resort in Ko Lanta.

Crossing to Ko Lanta via 2 x Car Ferries – Long delays are usual at the moment

We can arrange for a private, air-conditioned car to pick you up from Krabi Airport (or your hotel in Krabi) and bring you direct to your resort on Ko Lanta.

There are two car ferries that link Ko Lanta with the mainland. They run continuously back and forth between 6:30am and 10:00pm. The journey from Krabi Town to the 1st car ferry takes about 45mins – 1 hour. Once you have crossed the ferries, it should not take more than about 30mins to reach any resort on Ko Lanta.

At the moment, it is not unusual to encounter long delays at the car ferries with crossing times from 1 hour, up to 3 or 4 hours. (Plans to build a bridge are already underway).

The public, shared minibuses provide an economical, but sometimes noisy/crowded mode of transport to Ko Lanta. They leave Krabi Town on the hour, every hour from 8.00am to 5.00pm.
They are subject to the same car ferry delays as a Private Taxi.

The Krabi – Ko Lanta Passenger ferry runs during high season only. This is usually from mid-October to end-April (please check if your holiday dates fall near these times).
